The Beach & the Views

The front deck of the home enjoys panoramic views to the West. Especially beautiful are the summer sunsets.

An evening of such viewing pleasure is pure bliss! Beach access on the westerly side of the property is available

for those who also want to hear the rhythmic rustle of the waves, enjoy the tranquility of their own private beach,

wish to fossil hunt, explore the tidal pools or just soak in the bounty of nature.

The Home – A deck for everyone’s pleasure

Almost every room in the house has access to a deck. The living areas bound on the front deck with the magnificent views. To the south is a small cozy deck, perfect for those who enjoy the sun. The second bedroom also has a small deck with westerly views, and secluded behind the bathroom is the “spa deck” with an outdoor shower.

The Home – The Living Room

Enjoy the cozy warmth of the propane fireplace in the living room and enjoy the same westerly views available from the front deck. The living room, as with the rest of the home is furnished with a mix of modern European and Asian antique pieces. You won’t find a flat screen TV here - this room is for the sharing of ideas amongst friends!

The kitchen and dining area feature more or less everything anyone could imagine to conduct the perfect dinner party.

The Home – Master Bedroom

The master bedroom is luxuriously outfitted and features a top of the line queen size mattress with 200 thread count linens. The master bedroom is situated to the rear of the house away from the living areas and bodes the perfect aura for a good night’s rest.

The Home – The Second Bedroom

The second bedroom is a little smaller than the master bedroom but is also luxuriously outfitted and features a top of the line queen size mattress with 200 thread count linens. This bedroom has the bonus of having its own west view deck.

The main bath is outfitted with a large soaker tub and leads to the outdoor “spa deck” with the hot tub and outdoor shower. The second bedroom is across from a quest toilet.

The Cabin

The rustic little cabin offers lots of charm and is ideally suited for those who want all of the comforts of home, but typically choose to spend most of their time exploring Hornby Island. The cabin comes complete with kitchen facilities and a bathroom with shower. The deck also has wonderful peek-a-boo views of the water and distant islands.
